We ate there for lunch 8/15/2023 We were just driving through and looked for a restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was homemade and delicious. Today's specials included pot roast which we both had. It included three vegetables! We had tea and dessert for $8.88!! Will go there again if we are in the area. Bill K
Mmm, Mmm Wow, just what I needed after a long day. Staff amazing,well managed, attentive. Steak is fantastic, Ribeye, juicy, fresh and not overcooked and So Tasty. Sides I got Spinach and Veggies, Top steakhouse Quality. Side salad with, got to get house dressing. Fast and professional, I am so blessed to find places and people like this. Southern dining at it's best! I absolutely adore their Southern Star salad with the fried chicken and onions. That ranch dressing is the best! You also cant so wrong with the cubed steak and gravy with a side on squash casserole, butter beans and lacy cornbread! Make sure to leave room for dessert and tip your waitress! High recommended!
Took the family there for dinner on the advice of our hotel. They said they were the only decent Restaurant in town... so we were not expecting much. But.... we were wrong. It was actually very good. The bread and butter served with dinner was high quality. The salads that came with our entrees were devoured. Wife had ribs, boy had chicken tenders and i had the Catfish. Everyone ate thier fill and was very happy with thier choices. We will probably not be in the area again anytime soon.... but if we are we will definitely be back.
